A creamy, lightened up version of shrimp alfredo that comes together in just 30 minutes!

1 package linguine or spaghetti
1 lb. shrimp, tails removed
1 - 8 oz. container cherry or grape tomatoes
1 medium avocado
1/2 cup pesto, homemade or store bought
1/2 cup half and half
2 tablespoons butter
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/4 cup freshly grated white cheddar or mozzarella cheese
