Creamy Tuscan Garlic Chicken

What's not to love about crispy baked chicken covered in a creamy, cheesy sauce....all served over fettuccine noodles? This is my type of comfort food! I love dinners like this that taste and look "fancy" but only took 30 minutes or less to prepare.

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 Tbsp olive oil
¾ cup flour
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
½ teaspoon dried basil
½ teaspoon dried oregano
¼ teaspoon onion powder
For the sauce:
1 red or yellow bell pepper, diced
1 Tbsp minced garlic
½ cup chicken broth
2 Tbsp oil
1 Tbsp flour
½ cup half and half + 2 tsp corn starch
1 cup milk
2 cups fresh baby spinach, roughly chopped
½ cup shredded parmesan cheese
¼ tsp garlic salt
Dash of salt and white pepper
1 pound fettuccine noodles

Cook fettuccine noodles according to package instructions.
