This Date Night Chocolate Almond Espresso Cake is the perfect date night indulgence! It’s rich in chocolate flavor with a hint of espresso! It’s also Vegan and Gluten Free!

INGREDIENTS
2 cups almond meal/flour (I used Bob\'s Red Mill)
? cup 100% cocoa powder
Pinch of sea salt
1½ tsp baking powder
2 flax eggs (2 tbsp ground flax mixed with 6 tbsp water)
¼ cup melted butter (I use Earth Balance in the red tub)
? cup maple syrup
2 tbsp unsweetened vanilla almond milk (I used SILK brand)
Chocolate Espresso Sauce:
4 oz. dark chocolate bar (70% or higher)
3 oz. espresso or strong brewed coffee
4 tbsp unsweetened vanilla almond milk (I used SILK brand)
