Dhal
Dhal is indian lentil soup. My kids loves this. Another kids friendly food.

Ingredients
1 cup red lentils
1 cup toor lentils
4 tablespoons ghee
1 onion small
5 gloves garlic
2 green chilly
Salt to taste
1/2 bunch corriander
1 cup spinach
6 cup water
1/4 teaspoon tumaric

Methods
1. Mix both lentils wash the lentils, add 5 cups of water, salt, tumaric and boil for 20mins. Stiring occasionally.
2. While you are waiting for the dhal or lentils. Slice thinly the onion, garlic and chilies. Chop the spinach and corriander.
3. In another pan heat the ghee. When the ghee is really hot add onions sauté the onions untill it starts to turn light brown in color.
4. Add garlic and chillies cook for 1 min then add boiled dhal or lentils, spinach and coriander bring it to boil. Turn off the heat serve with rice or roti. You can also eat it by itself.
NOTE
If your making for kids only put half a chilly. If you are vegan use oil instead of ghee.
