A rich tasting egg drop soup recipe that could not be quicker or easier!

3 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup water
6 cups good quality vegetable broth
8 whole scallion, thinly sliced
3 oz crimini mushrooms, chopped
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
