Whenever I make cookies, I always wonder to myself. Am I the only mom that sits there after their done baking and has to “test” one cookie off of each baking sheet- to ensure their okay. That being said… by the time I’m done making cookies, typically, I have 3-4 cookies. Am I the only one? Am I? This is a major reason why I don’t make cookies all that often. Maybe once every few months. My 4 year old, Parker, had been BEGGING me to make cookies with/for him for a week or so. It’s just so much

1 cup butter (2 sticks)
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 heaping cup of brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups of Flour
1 1/2 cups M&M's
Reserve remaining M&M's for decoration
1/2 cup sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream together butter, and both sugars. Add in egg, vanilla, salt, & baking soda. Add in flour a bit at a time & then M&M's.
Using melon baller place on cookie sheet, decorate...
