2 waffle sheets (about 15x11 inches)
1/2 cup butter (softened)
3/4 cups fish paté (any store bought or home-made fish paste to your taste)
1 tablespoon red bell pepper relish (roasted, peeled and shredded peppers)
1 teaspoon mustard
to taste salt and pepper
1. Beat the butter until creamy and fluffy. Add fish paste, pepper relish and mustard, salt and pepper and mix well. Divide the mixture into 3 equal parts. 2. Cut both waffle sheets into half so you get 4 equal pieces around 7.5x11 inches. 3. Spread 3 of the waffle sheets with the fish paste mixture, layering each sheet on top of the next. Put the fourth sheet on the top. 4. Let the waffle sit into the fridge for 3-4 hours before serving and cut into pieces at your convenience. If you wish, you can decorate with some fish paste or mayo. Note: The first photo shows how the fish spread looks like before putting the last waffle sheet. On the second photo, fish waffles are shown served (right below the watermark).
