French Bread

Dissolve:
2 pkg. dry yeast in
1/2 c. warm water
1/2 tsp. sugar

Combine:
2 T. sugar
2 T. fat (butter)
2 tsp. salt
2 cups boiling water
Dissolve yeast packets, 1/2 cup of water, and 1/2 tsp sugar together. Combine the 2 T sugar, 2 T butter, 2 tsp salt, and 2 cups boiling water. Cool to lukewarm and add yeast mixture. Stir in: 7 1/2- 8 cups...
