1 cup flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
¾ teaspoon ginger
½ teaspoon nutmeg
¼ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar
¼ cup molasses
1 egg
½ teaspoon vanilla
½ cup buttermilk
Topping:
8 ounces Cool Whip
½ teaspoon ginger
½ teaspoon nutmeg
15 gingersnap cookies, crushed
Caramel ice cream topping, optional
