Grandma's Pumpkin Pie

A delicious, traditional homemade pumpkin pie!

Crust
1 tsp salt
2 cups flour
2/3 cups solid shortening
6-7 Tbl ice water
Pie Filling
1 15 oz can of pumpkin
1.5 cups white sugar
4 eggs
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1.5 tsp pumpkin pie spice
3/4 cup milk
4 Tbl flour
1 tsp salt
2 cups flour
2/3 cups solid shortening
6-7 Tbl ice water
Pie Filling
1 15 oz can of pumpkin
1.5 cups white sugar
4 eggs
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1.5 tsp pumpkin pie spice
3/4 cup milk
4 Tbl flour
Crust: Mix salt, flour, shortening until smooth. Add water and roll into a ball. Cut in half, roll out bottom to fit pie dish. Then fill.
Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, 350 degrees for 40 minutes, turning the temp down while the pie is still in the oven. Remove, let cool, and enjoy!
