Homemade BBQ & Dipping Suace
25
The best homemade BBQ & Dipping Sauce you've ever enjoyed. I like to use it when I grill, but also like to use it when I am relaxing and watching TV and dip my nacho chips.

1 tablespoon olive oil
2 clove garlic, minced
1?2 cup minced onion
1 cup tomato puree
2?3 cup honey
1?2 cup water
1?4 cup bourbon (I use 1/2 cup)
3 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 tablespoon Tony Chachere's More Spice seasoning
2 teaspoon tabasco sauce
1 tea spoon dry mustard
1 tea spoon kosher or sea salt
1?2 teaspoon jalapeno pepper powder
2 clove garlic, minced
1?2 cup minced onion
1 cup tomato puree
2?3 cup honey
1?2 cup water
1?4 cup bourbon (I use 1/2 cup)
3 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 tablespoon Tony Chachere's More Spice seasoning
2 teaspoon tabasco sauce
1 tea spoon dry mustard
1 tea spoon kosher or sea salt
1?2 teaspoon jalapeno pepper powder
Heat oil in saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and onion, sauté until onions are transparent, about 5 minutes.
Add remainder of ingredients, reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes to let flavours blend.
I tend to leave it on the Keep Warm burner for several hours, stirring every so often. This sauce becomes better the longer it simmers. Substitute apple juice or half and half apple juice and water for the 1/2 cup of water.
