Hydrangea Vanilla Cupcakes

This is a very fluffy vanilla cupcakes , with a delicious buttercream frosting... Its very easy to make , and perfect for gifts, birthday or just a treat for yourself ..

Cupcakes :
1cup Granulated Sugar
1stick Unsalted Butter
2 Eggs
2 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
2tsp Baking Powder
1/8 salt (optional)
1 1/3 Cups Flour ( all purpose)
80ml Milk
Frosting
1stick unsalted butter
2 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
1-2 Tbsp Milk / heavy cram
2tsp vanilla extract
1cup Granulated Sugar
1stick Unsalted Butter
2 Eggs
2 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
2tsp Baking Powder
1/8 salt (optional)
1 1/3 Cups Flour ( all purpose)
80ml Milk
Frosting
1stick unsalted butter
2 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
1-2 Tbsp Milk / heavy cram
2tsp vanilla extract
Preheat your oven to 350F
- Mix all dry ingredients ( flour, salt, baking powder). Set aside
- cream butter and sugar until fluffy about 2-3 minutes. U can use spatulla / handheld mixture / standing mixture
- add in eggs one time at a time into butter mixture and add in vanilla extract. Mix until well combine
- add in your flour mixture and milk into the butter mixture in 3 addition . ( flour - milk - flour - milk - flour)
Mix it until well combined , remember not to over mix it.
Once your batter ready
Line your muffin tray with cupcake liner, and pour the batter into the cupcake liner about 3/4 full .
Bake until golden brown for about 15-20 minutes
Insert a toothpick into the center of ur cupcakes , if its comes out clean it means your cupcakes ready .
Frosting :
Cream your butter until smooth and fluffy for about 2-3 minutes with handheld / standing mixer
Add in powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract on a slow speed , mix it until well combine and turn it to high speed mix it for about 2-3 minutes .
You can now add in your desired food coloring and mix it again.
Im using wilton tip no. 2D to make the hydrangea flower.
