John's Breakfast Quiche

Sometimes we make it for dinner but our favorite meal to eat it is for breakfast. It's tasty, festive and filling.

1 - 8" pie crust, unbaked
1 1/2 cup grated Colby- Jack cheese
3 strips of thick sliced bacon, cooked and diced
6 eggs
3/4 cup half and half
1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp onion powder
Place grated cheese in bottom of pie crust. Sprinkle bacon over cheese. In a large bowl beat together eggs, half and half and onion powder.
Pour into pan over cheese and bacon.
