1/2 cup butter ( softened )
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs ( room temperature )
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk ( 2% )
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon zest
12 oz wilton candy melts
to taste Sprinkles
