Lemon rice is one of the simple and easy dishes to make. It is most popular and often prepared rice in South India.

3 cups Boiled Rice
1/2 Lemon juice
2 tbsp Oil
1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
1 tsp Urad dal
1 tsp Chana dal
2 tbsp Peanuts
2 Green chillies ( slit )
1 Red chilli
1 tsp Ginger
1 tbsp Curry leaves
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder

Heat oil in a pan on medium flame.

Add mustard seeds, let it crackle.

Add urad dal followed by chana dal and peanuts. Saute for couple of minutes or until dal turns golden brown.
