"Make it your way" Banana Bread

Delicious & moist banana bread that everyone loves! This never lasts more than a day at my house. Easy to alter the recipe to your taste!

1 1/2 cups all purpose flour ( option: use 1 c a-p flour and 1/2 cup whole wheat flour)
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3 ripe bananas (mashed) (options: use 1 1/2 cups any fruit such as canned pumpkin, shredded zucchini, applesauce)
1/2 cup oil (oil options: softened butter, margarine, mashed avacado, pureed beans, 1 mashed banana)
1/2 cup sugar (can increase to 1 cup sugar if you like sweeter bread)
2 Tbsp applesauce (1 egg if you prefer)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

Preheat oven to 350 F.
Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
Mix bananas, oil, sugar, applesauce and vanilla. Add flour mixture and mix well.
Place batter into greased loaf pan. Bake 20 minutes.
Turn oven down to 325, bake another 20 minutes or till done when knife inserted in the center.
Remove from pan and allow to cool at least 15 minutes before slicing.
Excellent with butter slathered on a thick slice.
