Malay Pickle

Malay Pickle is a popular tasty dish among Sri Lankans. As it has its roots to Malay community, this pickle is popular as Malay Pickle. However, as of most pickles, this is not a spicy pickle. Instead it is a pickle that tastes sweet, sour and spicy. With addition of dates, Malay pickle is mostly sweet in taste but with vinegar, chilly and salt ,it gives a mix of tangy, sweet and sour taste.
