1 firm tofu
1 onion
6 oz pork or beef plate, thinly sliced ( 170g )
1 tablespoon canola oil
3/4 cup water
2 1/2 teaspoons dashi powder
2 teaspoons sugar
2 tablespoons mirin
1 tablespoon sake
2 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce

Wrap tofu with a paper towel and drain tofu for 15 minutes, after that cut tofu bite size. Cut onion in half from top to bottom, slice into 1/2inch wedges.
