Meatballs for Any Occasion (Dairy-Free)

Versatile meatballs with a clean yet very robust meaty flavor. They go well in appetizers, Italian dishes and even Swedish meatball recipes.

1 onion, chopped thin
1 /4 tsp garlic powder
1 lb. ground chuck or sirloin
1/3 cup dried breadcrumbs
1 tbsp worstechire sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tsp olive oil
1/3 tsp of black pepper
1/3 tsp salt
1 tbsp parsley
1 egg
1 egg yolk
1 tbsp water
1 tsp dark brown sugar
1 /4 tsp garlic powder
1 lb. ground chuck or sirloin
1/3 cup dried breadcrumbs

1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tsp olive oil
1/3 tsp of black pepper
1/3 tsp salt
1 tbsp parsley

1 egg yolk
1 tbsp water
1 tsp dark brown sugar
In a large mixing bowl, stir together all your wet ingredients. In another bowl stir together all of your dry ingredients. Combine them into one bowl and add your meat, knead it like bread-fold, flatten, flip, fold the other direction. Mix thoroughly. Shape into 1 1/2 inch meatballs.
For a browned outside preheat a large skillet with 1 tbsp vegetable oil on medium high. Once it starts to sizzle alot, add the meatballs and brown each side 2-3 minutes. Turn heat to low and cover.
For softer resutls, put in the pan on medium and let cook, turning occaisionally or bake in the oven for 10 minutes at 350.
Great make ahead item for weeknight meals and snacks!
