Mexican rice from mexico city

a yummy red mexican rice

in a blender add: 2 tomatoes 1/4 of onion 1 garlis clove salt and 1/2 cup water
blend
in a pan add oil
add 1 and 1/2 cup rice
fry rice until light brown
keep moving it around so it dont burn
add tomatoe mix to rice
then add 1 and half of water
cook covered up on low mid heat until done
check rice about every 5 min
if needed add more water
