Oatmeal Raisin Butterscotch Cookies
26
I adapted this recipe from the cookbook Flour given to me by my aunt. I approximately halved the recipe, except for the spices, and added vanilla extract and butterscotch chips. I often find butterscotch chips overpoweringly sweet, so I added just 1/3 cup to this recipe, and it added just the right touch of extra sweetness. If you don't like butterscotch, they can be omitted. These cookies are wonderfully chewy, slightly spicy, and are the best oatmeal raisin cookies I've ever made
