Overnight rise yummy yeast rolls
168
It is so convenient to make this the night before and then be able to make fresh rolls in practically no time.
20
2 cups water
1/2 cup sugar
1 stick butter
1 teaspoon salt
2 packages yeast
1/2 teaspoon sugar
8 cups flour
2 eggs
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1 stick butter
1 teaspoon salt
2 packages yeast
1/2 teaspoon sugar
8 cups flour
2 eggs
1/4 cup water
Bring the 2 cups water to a boil, then add the sugar, butter and salt. Let this mixture cool to lukewarm, then add the well beaten eggs. Combine the 1/4 cup water, yeast and sugar and let dissolve, then add to first mixture. Add 4 cups flour. Mix well, then place in buttered bowl, cover and refrigerate overnight.
Form the dough into small balls and put into greased muffin pans. Let stand about one hour. Bake at 425 degrees about 10 minutes. This mixture can be left in the refrigerator and used a little bit at a time for more than a week. How great is that?!
