Pepperjack Cheesesteak Sammie

A taste of a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with a little spicy kick!

1 lb ground turkey meat
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp garlic, minced
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp oregano leaves
1/2 tsp black pepper
8 oz can beef broth, reduced sodium
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp corn starch
1/2 cup onions, chopped
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
1 cup yellow tomatoes, diced
1/8 cup banana peppers, diced
1/2 cup pepper jack cheese, shredded
Sub sandwich rolls
-Pour olive oil in large skillet and cook ground turkey meat. -Add all spices and vegetables to meat while cooking. Make sure to drain excess liquid from skillet. Crumble into fine pieces. -In bowl mix broth, Worcestershire sauce and cornstarch together. Next add to meat and simmer for 10-15 minutes. -Spoon mixture into sub sandwich rolls. Place on foil lined cookie sheet. -Sprinkle with cheese and place in oven on broil until cheese melts. -Enjoy!
