Simple vanilla ice cream full of delicious peppermint bark pieces.

1 cup half and half
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 cup heavy whipping cream
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2- 3.5 ounce bar peppermint bark, regular or dark
