Perfect Italian Meatballs
324
These meatballs are easy to make and are sure to please everyone. They are the classic Italian meatball, served best with spaghetti and a hearty red sauce, but they can be adapted to suit any purpose.

Preheat oven to 350.
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onions and eggs. Add in all seasonings to taste. Manually mix with one hand. With the other hand, slowly pour in breadcrumbs, while continuing to mix. I used Progresso's Italian Style Bread Crumbs, 24 oz can, roughly a quarter of the can. The meat needs to be somewhat sticky and will easily ball.
Once all ingredients are evenly mixed, ball meat into the size meatball preferred. I make mine slightly bigger than a golf ball. Roll in hands and pat together well so they maintain their shape.
Makes 36 meatballs.
Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 22-24 minutes. Adjust baking time for smaller or larger meatballs as needed.
Serve over spaghetti with red sauce. Meat sauce recipe coming soon!
Note: ground beef can be substituted with ground chicken or turkey for a healthier meal. I use 95% lean ground beef.
