Perfect Sugar Cookies with Glaze Frosting

Soft and delicious sugar cookies topped with a delicious and pretty glaze frosting.

1 cup butter, softened
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
5 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Glaze Frosting:
3 3/4 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons milk (any variety works)
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
1 teaspoons almond extract
