Pineapple Cheese Ball

This recipe is from Grandmother. We always had it during family gatherings. The pineapple gives this cheese ball a little sweetness.

2 pkgs 8oz cream cheese, softened
1 can 8 1/2 oz crushed pineapple, drained
2 c chopped pecans
1/4 c finely diced green pepper
2 tbl finely diced onion
1 tbl seasoning salt

In medium bowl blend cream cheese until smooth. Gradually stir in crushed pineapple, 1 cup chopped pecans, green pepper, onion & seasoning salt. Shape into a ball. Roll in remaining chopped pecans. Wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate overnight. Serve with assorted crackers.
