Pineapple Rum Cake

This is super fabulous. It tastes really fancy and doesn't take much to prepare. See that glaze that soaked into the cake? It makes the "shell" of the cake carmelized and wonderful. Next time I make this I'm doubling the topping, because I must try it over ice cream!

1 tablespoon poppy seeds
1 box yellow cake mix WITHOUT pudding in the mix
1 box instant vanilla pudding (large)
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup pineapple rum
1/2 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup sour cream
4 eggs
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup pineapple rum
