Pool Party Cupcakes

Perfect for a pool party! Cupcakes decorated with "pool blue" icing, and Teddy Bears floating in peachy rings.,,

1 package cake mix, prepared according to box directions into 24 cupcakes
Teddy Grahams for garnish
Gummy Peachy Rings for garnish
Mike and Ikes for garnish
toothpicks (to create "popsicles" with the Mike & Ikes)
Swedish Fish for garnish

Butter Cream Frosting

2 cups shortening
8 cups confectioner's sugar, sifted
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons clear vanilla
6 ounces heavy cream
blue food coloring

Cream shortening in an electric mixer until fluffy. Add confectioner's sugar and continue creaming until well blended. Add salt, vanilla and whipping cream. Blend on low speed until just moistened. Beat at high speed until frosting is fluffy. Tint frosting desired color of blue with food coloring. Spread or pipe icing onto cupcakes. Garnish with Teddy Grahams and Peachy Rings as desired.
