Pork Ribs with Dry Rub
33
This is an awesome dry rub recipe for pork ribs. Would work just as well for beef ribs too!
15
1 rack pork spare ribs
4 tbsp. brown sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. paprika
1 1/2 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp. liquid smoke
4 tbsp. brown sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. paprika
1 1/2 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp. liquid smoke
Preheat oven to 300.
Mix all the spices together in a bowl.
Prepare the ribs by pulling the membrane off of the back of them. This can usually be done pretty easily by taking a knife and cutting just a tiny slit under the membrane, then, using a paper towels to hold it, gently pull it up away from the meat.
Place the ribs on a large cookie sheet with a lip on it to catch juices. Rub liquid smoke on both sides of ribs, then put the rub on, rubbing it into the meat on both sides.
Cover with foil and place the rack in the oven. Roast for about 90 minutes.
