Pumpkin Scones with Pumpkin Glaze

These pumpkin scones are great for brunch, any time of year!

3/4 cup buttermilk, plus more for brushing over scones prior to baking
1 tsp vanilla


2 1/2 cups all purpose flour, plus more for dusting
1/4 cups sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
1/2 tsp{really good} ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp kosher salt
12 tbsp (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter; diced small and chilled
1/2 cup organic pumpkin puree


Pumpkin Glaze:
2 tbsp organic pumpkin puree
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tbsp 2% milk
*You do not need organic pumpkin. If you open a can of "regular" pumpkin and organic pumpkin puree, you will see an amazing difference! Then you may never go non-organic again :) Preheat oven to 375...
