Cherry Covered Chocolate Cupcakes

Instead of chocolate covered cherries, these cupcakes are Cherry Covered Chocolate with Cherry Cheesecake Frosting. They’re fluffy, light, and perfectly pink for #10000Cupcakes!

6 ounces chocolate
1/4 cup half and half
1 tablespoon cherry vodka
1/2 cup butter
1 1/4 cup sugar
2 egg yolks
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup maraschino cherry juice
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup cake flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 egg whites
Pinch of cream of tartar
4 tablespoons butter, softened
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
10 maraschino cherries
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
