Crispy and Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Perfectly crispy on the edges and chewy in the middle, these Crispy and Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies are the go to favorite in our house and I know it will be in yours.

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup butter flavored shortening
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375. Combine the flour with the salt and baking soda in a mixing bowl. Set aside. Using the whisk attachment, cream the butter and shortening with the sugars. Add the eggs one at a time...
