Tired of plain old banana bread? These muffins are the perfect alternative. The deliciousness of banana bread with the fullness of oatmeal and a flavorful dose of cinnamon, ginger, and cardamom. Plus these bake up in less than half the time.

5 ripe, medium bananas
1 1/2 cups oatmeal
1 1/2 cups flour
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon cardamom
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup milk
2 eggs
1/2 cup pecans
