Restaurant style fish fry recipe / Sheer fish fry / vanjaram fry recipes with detailed instructions and step by step photos. This is fresh fish marinated with few masala and shallow fried in oil for few minutes. Vanjaram fish fry tastes too good. Also it requires only regular pantry staples to make it. You can serve this sheer fish fry with plain rice, sambar rice or with rasam rice. In our family we all like seafood especially fish and prawns. I had shared few prawn recipes earlier but this is my first fish recipe in the blog. We like fish fry than the fish curry, This sheer fish fry is very popular recipe and you can find this in almost all the indian restaurant menu.

To make ground paste:
3-4 Shallot
6-7 Garlic pods
1 Ginger ( 1 inch )
1 tbsp Chili powder
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
1/2 tsp Garam masala
1 tbsp Rice flour
2 tsp Oil
Salt ( As per taste )
2 tsp Lemon juice ( optional )
To make fish fry:
6 pieces Sheer fish
Oil to fry
Curry leaves ( few )
