Saucy Super Bowl Meatballs!

Got a quarterback in the family? Then he, or she, deserves a quarter pound meatball, swimming in sauce. Don't full around with those tiny meatballs, make one meatball that counts. Throw in garlic, bacon, tomatoes sauce and cheese, and no one will remember to ask for spaghetti. And there are no breadcrumbs in this recipe, so no carbs!

2 pounds ground beef.
4 strips of applewood smoked bacon, diced into small bits.
6 cloves of garlic, minced.
2 eggs, beaten.
1 cup Parmigiano cheese.
1 tablespoon fresh cracked black pepper.
16 ounces tomato puree (or your favorite tomato sauce)
2 ounces chopped Italian parsley leaves.
2 ounces shredded carrots.
4 ounces chopped onions.
4 ounces olive oil.
2 tablespoons crushed red peppers.
4 strips of applewood smoked bacon, diced into small bits.

Mix the ground beef, diced bacon, 2/3 of the garlic, eggs, black pepper and Parmigiano cheese together in a bowl. Use your hands to mix it all together and form 9 big meatballs.
