Savory Beef Stroganoff

Stroganoff is full of hearty goodness; steak, noodles and a rich creamy sauce. However, I substituted fat free sour cream and used lean beef to make this lighter yet still satisfying.

1.5 pound of lean beef round or fillet of beef, sliced into two inch strips
salt and pepper, to taste
Mrs. Dash steak seasoning, to taste
1 large clove garlic, chopped
3 tablespoons butter
1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 medium red onion, chopped
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups low-sodium beef broth
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 teaspoon dry mustard or 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
3 tablespoons Marsala wine
1 cup fat free sour cream
1 package wide egg noodles
salt and pepper, to taste

Cut the steak up into two inch strips then season with salt, pepper and Mrs. Dash to taste. I let it sit in the fridge while I whipped up the rest. I wanted to let the seasonings really set in the meat....
