Homemade applesauce doesn’t get any easier than this! Fill your Crock Pot with the season’s fresh produce and after a few hours of simmering you will have a sweet, healthy Slow Cooker Applesauce ready to enjoy. It’s a fall side dish, breakfast, or snack that my family adores!

Apples, peeled, cored, and sliced (I used 35 very small apples from a local orchard, but you should just use as many apples as you need to fill up your large crock pot. If you’re using very large apples, you might only need about 10-12)
1 Tablespoon sugar, plus more to taste
