Slow Cooker Harvest Stew (Chili version)

I recently got a 2nd crockpot for my birthday. I feel like I am in crockpot heaven! I can brown several pounds of ground vension and use up some of the extra garden veggies by making two different soups or stews at the same time. Today I made two versions of this stew, a Chili and an Italian. Both are very thick and filling!

3 cups tomato sauce
1 cup broth
2 cups pinto beans
1 cup black beans
1 cup chopped butternut squash or carrots
1 chopped bell pepper
1/2 chopped onion
1 tablespoon chili powder
salt and pepper to taste
1 lb cooked ground meat
Mix all ingredients in slow cooker and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 8 hours. Can be served over rice.
