It contains protease that breaks down protein muscles in meat and makes it tender in to time. You can also add some star anise pods to elevate the flavor profile.

Before leaving Missouri I had a friend give me all of her family cookbooks. I really think I was in heaven! This was one of easiest crock pot meals I have ever made. It took under 10 minutes to chop everything and throw it in the slow cooker. And believe it or not... the taco seasoning added just the right touch!
1 to 2 pounds of stew meat
1 small bag of baby carrots
1 onion chopped
2 large potatoes ( chopped )
1 can diced tomatoes
1 large tomato ( cut )
2 cloves garlic ( minced optional )
1/2 package of taco seasoning mix
1 can of beef broth
1 small bag of baby carrots
1 onion chopped
2 large potatoes ( chopped )
1 can diced tomatoes
1 large tomato ( cut )
2 cloves garlic ( minced optional )
1/2 package of taco seasoning mix
1 can of beef broth
