Tangy Whiskey Salmon

248

This is so easy and quick. You just need four ingredients. This recipe serves 2, so double, triple or cut in half depending on how many you are feeding. P eople ask me all the time if cooking with bourbon, whiskey, wine etc makes the food taste like too much alcohol. The answer is no. I find it gives good flavor, however the strength of the alcohol flavor is cooked out of it leaving a sweet tangy sauce that compliments the fish very well

2
2 - 6oz salmon fillets
4 Tbsp Barbecue Sauce
2 Tbsp Bourbon or Whiskey
1 clove garlic chopped
First mix the Jack Daniels Barbecue sauce with Wild Turkey. Mix the sauce, whiskey and garlic and brush over the salmon fillets. Wrap each fillet in foil and bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
