The BEST Brownies EVER (Seriously!)

I'm not kidding, these are HANDS DOWN, the very best brownies you will EVER EAT! They are fudgy, yet cakey, sweet, yet, not too much so, and so easy to put together (and only minimal ingredients required!). Great on their own, but can be added to with nuts, chocolate chips or whatever your heart fancies! They are also quite yummy not frosted, but the frosting does add a little certain something!

1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
3 tbsp butter, softened
3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup cream (10% is fine)
1 cup icing sugar
