Is there anything better around the Holidays than all the sweet treats?? I am in sugar heaven. My favorite combination being the “turtle”, these were a great way to get a little sugared up before my last push into wrapping all those presents waiting for me…

FOR THE CRUST:
2 sticks butter-at room temperature
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 cups flour
FOR CARAMEL LAYER:
1 bag (14 ounces) caramels, unwrapped and chopped up
2 tablespoons heavy cream
FOR THE NUT LAYER:
1 cup pecans-chopped
FOR CHOCOLATE LAYER:
1 (12 ounce) bag chocolate chips
1 tablespoon butter
2 teaspoons flaky sea salt
