This hearty condiment is the perfect way to use up some left-over summer basil!

3 cloves of garlic, peeled
4 cups fresh basil leaves
1/2 cup walnuts, toasted
1/2 cup parmesan-reggiano
zest & juice of one lemon
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil, more as needed
1/2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
1 tsp kosher salt
