1 lb. hamburger meat
1 small onion
1/2 cup packaged precooked rice
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup cracker crumbs (10 crackers)
1 egg
pepper to taste
2 cans of tomato sauce (smaller cans)
1/2 can of water

Mix these ingredients together well. Shape into balls and pile into a well oiled casserole dish. Pour tomato sauce over this and bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Thin tomato sauce with 1/2 can of water.
